Lots of Garnets and flakes of gold were found. Lots of fun for the day from all!! July 21 & 22 we journeyed to South Pass in Alantic City, some people chose to spend the night, so we carpooled to the site from Alantic City. Mr. Jim Doyle set up his high banker and ran it 1 1/2 hours. No luck on that particular site, but finally further on down we found 11 pieces using the sluce box. The people who should up helped out with a real good production line hauling buckets of dirt. They all were given a bag of consternated sand for their efforts. Again if going to the Gold and Treasure show, register on line for your free admission. We are still in need for volunteers at the show the 7-10. Please sign up on the sheet or e-mail, Mr. Bo Paxton at wydigger@gmail.com. NEW:- Next outing is going to be July 29th out at the Crazy Women Canyon, past Kaycee. Rick, George and Bo were invited back to the Three Trails museum for a patio talk on Aug. 4th, 9-4:00-All are welcome and would really like this adventure again. Rick said they are still in the process for the metal detecting outing-will give a date at a later time. Rick suggested we have some t-shirts made up to put in the store, and able to wear at the shows with our names on them. This is election night - Rick opened up the floor for anyone to be nominated for the president position, and Mr. Doyle moved to make a motion that the current officers keep their position-with a second motion by Mr. Ed Selby.
