GPAA Meeting


Rick opened the meeting with the announcement that Chuck Carrig (State Archilogist) is unable to attend this meeting, 
he was to busy with his State job.

Rick welcomed our new come, Ernie Blackford from Evansville.

Bo read the mission statement.
Tina read the minutes from last meeting.
Bill read the treasurers report, with ending balance of $1035.20

Rick talked about the Rockhound club wanting us to set up a booth @ their annual event.  The club is needing some volunteers
on the June 23rd and 24th at the Parkway Plaza,for this event. Please see Rick after meeting.     

Also the 8th and 9th of Sept.the club needs help with our booth, set up and volunteer hour to support the club.

NEW- Rick is seeking for new claim in our Wyoming area from the California GPAA, he will let us know when he get
more answers, and how it is going. The pioneer days in Glenrock would like for the Casper club, to set up a table
and demostrate panning for this exhibit. This will take place on June 30th. 

OLD- The club voted on a 6x3 banner for the Casper chapter. Mr. Randy Johnson will get this worked up for the club.

We had a outing at Bishop point, it went real well, and there is GOLD to be found. Jim Doyle set up and demostrated
his high-banker. ALL HAD FUN!!!

The Casper chapter is still looking for an outing director, this is a non stress,fun, small duty for anyone looking
to put a hand in to benfit the club.  Please step up! 

CLUB OUTING-June 3rd, private property up at the base of Pedro Mnts. The group will meet at 7:00 a.m. West Walmart, for
the caravan.

ELECTIIONS-Will be held in July, our 1 year anniversary.
